1. Data controller

2. Hosting with World4You

This website is hosted by World4You Internet Services GmbH. When you access the website, technically necessary data is transmitted to and processed on the hosting provider’s servers.

A data processing agreement with World4You is entered into or reviewed via the World4You customer area, as applicable, for the web hosting service.

3. Server log files

For technical reasons, information transmitted by your browser is automatically stored in server log files when you access this website, e.g. IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested and browser type. This data is used solely for security and operational stability, is not combined with other data sources, and is deleted at regular, verifiable intervals.

4. TLS/HTTPS encryption

This website is delivered via an encrypted connection (HTTPS), where set up on the hosting server. This protects the transmission between your browser and the server against unauthorised access.

5. Contact by phone

If you contact us by phone, we process the details you provide during the call solely to handle your enquiry. Data is stored only to the extent necessary to answer your request.

6. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, your details (in particular your email address and the information contained in the message) are stored to process your request and are not disclosed to third parties without your consent.

7. Contact form

The contact form on this website lets you send us your name, email address, an optional phone number, a subject and a message. Confirming the privacy policy is required before the form can be submitted. A hidden technical field (honeypot) is used solely to block automated spam submissions and is never filled in by genuine visitors.

The same contact form is also used for wholesale inquiries from retailers, resellers and businesses. It uses the same form and the same email dispatch technically; no additional or different data processing takes place. When accessed via the wholesale page, only the subject field of the form is pre-filled as a convenience.

Submissions are sent technically by email via our hosting provider World4You’s mail service to office@ebetex.at. The email address you provide is used exclusively as the reply-to address so that we can reply to you directly.

The sole purpose of this processing is to answer your enquiry. There is no automated profiling, no newsletter dispatch, no storage in a publicly accessible database, and no disclosure for advertising purposes. As this website is not an online shop, no orders, payment data or customer accounts are processed via the form.

Depending on the content of your enquiry, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract, e.g. for enquiries about our range) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling business enquiries). Where separate consent is obtained in an individual case, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR is the legal basis.

8. Retention period

A specific, fixed retention period has not yet been conclusively defined internally. As a general principle, personal data from contact enquiries is deleted once it is no longer required to process your request and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. under commercial or tax law) apply.

9. WhatsApp

This website only displays an external link to WhatsApp. Only when you actively click this link is the WhatsApp application or website opened. No WhatsApp scripts or trackers are embedded or loaded automatically. The privacy policy of WhatsApp Ireland Limited applies to any subsequent communication via WhatsApp.

10. Google Maps

Only an external link to Google Maps is used to show directions. No automatically loading, embedded map is integrated into this website. Only after actively clicking the link is the Google page opened; only then does Google process the relevant data in accordance with Google’s privacy policy.

11. Cookies and local storage

This website currently does not use analytics or marketing cookies or comparable non-essential storage technologies. No analytics tools and no marketing pixels are currently used.

Should an optional service requiring consent be added in the future, a cookie consent banner will be activated before it is used and this privacy policy will be updated accordingly.

12. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights: the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), the right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and the right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).

13. Withdrawal and objection

Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on legitimate interest. 14. Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.
